A creative and organized graphic designer and copywriter with over 22 years experience, Amanda takes an open-minded, collaborative approach to problem solving. She has a meticulous eye for detail and strives to make the design and production process more enjoyable for everyone involved.
As a graduate of the Applied Communication program at Camosun College in Victoria, Amanda got her start in a small print shop’s prepress department — a valuable education that she continues to draw upon and appreciate today. She went on to join the in-house marketing team at Thrifty Foods, working on flyers, promotions, signs, and even private label food packaging for the brand. Then, as an independent graphic designer, Amanda went on to serve a diverse range of clients including Buckerfield’s and EAT Magazine.
Amanda’s home studio in her renovated 100-year-old house features a grid-tied solar array, so when the sun’s out in Victoria she’s designing on solar power! When not in the office, Amanda enjoys cooking, knitting, playing flute, piano and electric bass and likes to get out to paddle the local waterways on her SUP.
