Westlund, an industrial supply company with 28 locations across Canada, was struggling to differentiate itself from its competitors. Westlund’s brand identity and websites were outdated and failed to effectively communicate its unique method of servicing customers to differentiate it from its competitors. Westlund required a new message and position, including a brand narrative, logos, and websites (French and English) that would better represent its company values and appeal to its target audience.


As an oil & gas sector company, Startec was looking for a way to showcase their broad range of skillsets and services with a new brand image that showcased their many talents. Startec also wanted this new tagline to encompass the fact that their team worked as a family and was always willing to go the extra mile for their clients.


A family run business, established in 1964, Brunel is a leader in retail manufacturing and fixtures, building their business around a dedication to strong client relationships and even stronger work. As their business continued to experience rapid growth, Brunel required a compelling video that would highlight their value to new clients, as well as attract new talent to their team.

TEC Canada

TEC Canada solves complex issues and helps to move through common business sticking points and not just hand out “Tips & Tricks for entrepreneurs. Sandbox was tasked with getting to the essence of what TEC is all about and transform that into a visual language and brand that truly reflects TEC.

Universal Ford Lincoln

Over the past several years, sales at Canadian used car dealerships have been steadily declining. Sandbox was tasked with creating a campaign to try to change the negative perceptions associated with used car dealerships, for our client Universal Ford Lincoln.

Sobeys Wholesale: Family Foods

Sobeys Wholesale approached Sandbox to be the strategy, creative, and design team for their grocery and convenience business. One of the largest needs was to design weekly flyers and promotions for both their grocery and convenience store customers. As one of the other many needs Sandbox fulfills for Sobeys on an ongoing basis, Sobeys requested an updated Family Foods logo for its independent grocery banners throughout Western Canada.  They required a logo that would accurately represent their company, culture, and the goodwill associated with their grocery products and services, with the mission of breathing new life into the brand.

Pace Pharmacy

After creating the rallying cry, “Home of the Health Freedom Formula”, Sandbox used this message as the focal point of its brand origin story, further defining its mission, core values, and manifesto.


As a new player in Toronto’s crowded pharmaceutical market, Pace Pharmacy was looking for a way to stand out from the competition. With a focus on customer service, tailored prescription formulas, and strong values anchored in empathy and understanding, Pace wanted to share its story with its target market in a compelling, dynamic way.
